The Ekka as it has now become fondly known, is the annual agricultural and general showplace for Queensland (a state of Australia).
This show is Queensland's largest and most important annual event, drawing crowds of more than 400,000 people. It's been held in the Brisbane Exhibition Grounds since 1876 and was originally called the Brisbane Exhibition.
There are a diverse range of cultural events, products, educational displays, art, resources, agricultural, animal and many others on display at the show and EZIPOP was approached by the show organisers for a cost effective A5 size brochure holder that they could use to display and distribute an A5 size "Learning Trail Booklet".
Since their need was for only 100 of these units, we supplied them with some of our A5 Generic EZIPOPs which are kept as a stock item but produced in bulk to keep prices down. The Ekka organisers printed out a front label and customised these white brochure holders to suit their needs. The completed and filled EZIPOPs were displayed at various places around the show so that visitors had many opportunities to pick up the brochure.
